What a sky last nite - and the amazing thing is that it was gone in about 5 minutes.  All the clouds built up to the east of us and after about 15 minutes we had a good lightning storm for about an hour.

Waterfall is in!  Other than planting stuff around it we are done for this year!!

It took 5 days to build - the guys doing it worked their tails off..  

Expanding the master deck out another 8' to give us more of a deck off of the upstairs master and also provide more shade down below - they are doing it in one day..

Unfortunately the trex that we are using is a different shade/grain from the original trex, as they don't
make that anymore -but the only ones that will see it is us (and you guys that see this picture)

Been real busy and not posting - sorry about that - we went out to California for my aunt's funeral 2 weeks ago and Sat/Mon of this week we were in Boston for another aunts funeral, my moms sister Ruth passed away..

Trees were left outside for about 6 days in the hot sun and they were finally planted yesterday, I ended up renting a bobcat to drill the tree holes out - hopefully they aren't too stressed out and will survive.

I was sworn in yesterday to become a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for children.   It was a 30 hr class and now I'm sworn in before the Judge in Adams County.  

There were 19 of us in the class, and we're all starting to get our court cases this week.

Yesterday went over to Broomfield to look for eagles by Standley Lake.   I found a nice one sitting in a tree there.

I was taking pictures of bunnies in the backyard about 1/2 hr ago - they are so cute..

There must have been 10 of them just on the grass outside my window.   And then there were about 3, as the other 7 hightailed it .. and then I saw what made them run.

Its just a baby.. not the same one that I saw the other week..

This is what happens when bunnies get tunnel vision I guess..  luckily I rapped on the window and scared the fox away before he got any of them..

I took some senior portraits on Monday.   They came out pretty good, a lot of great models.  It wasn't an actual paying gig, but there were 5 models to shoot from, all day event hosted by Jill Bailey up at her studios in LaSalle, CO.   Professional Photographers of Colorado  put it on, must have been 35 photographers up there invading that poor little town..

This weekend in Denver is the 7th annual "Piazza Dell'Arte  street art festival, and I do mean STREET.    Chalk artists take to the streets of Downtown Denver and create masterpieces on the street just using chalk.  I took some photos (duh) and here is a sample of what was down there.   Jenn you'd have loved it (Jenns my daughter)  who loved to draw and do exactly what these people were doing.
